Last page of the book has partial lyrics of “The End,” a song by Jim Morrison and The Doors. The back cover of the fairy tale book is burnt by faux flame emitted from a vintage lighter engraved with the words “VIETNAM 71-72 / WHY ME”. Attached is an image of medals lying on the Capitol steps, on top of which are two actual medals: a Purple Heart and a Silver Star.
At the end of the bookshelf, partially hidden behind the back cover and under camouflage netting, is a copy of Tim O’Brien’s The Things They Carried.
