Inside the vintage rodent cage is a taxidermied white mouse. The implied narrative is that the mouse has stepped off his exercise wheel (which is battery operated and continues to turn), abandoned his book (a miniature copy of Stuart Little), and stands totally mesmerized by the image of Annette Funicello (wearing Mouseketeer ears) on his miniature TV set. The food bin below the TV contains his snack food, popcorn, and Coke fills the water receptacle.
